I’m Jess, a professional makeup artist with over 14 years of experience in makeup artistry, including bridal, editorial, special events, stage, and TV & film.
I completed my makeup training at the Hair Design Centre in Halifax and later trained at the Blanche Macdonald Global Makeup Program in Vancouver, where I deepened my skills in everything from beauty and fashion to special effects and tv/film.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work on a range of projects, from intimate weddings to national bodybuilding competitions. I’ve worked with Absolute Touch, provided makeup for Pro, National, and Provincial-level athletes, and have collaborated with photographers and creatives across Canada.
What matters most to me, no matter the job, is showing up with care, staying present, and giving each client my full attention. Whether it’s a wedding morning or a backstage setting, I believe every face deserves time, intention, and artistry.
I also love sharing my knowledge through teaching, whether it’s one-on-one lessons or helping someone feel more confident in their everyday makeup.
My mobile makeup service is based in St. John’s NL, and I travel to clients to offer a relaxed, personalized experience. I use luxury products, take the time to get the details just right, and always aim to make people feel like the best version of themselves.
